Constructing Knowledge and Transforming Knowledge

In this week’s learning path I have learnt about two different processes in student learning, these being Constructing Knowledge and Transforming Knowledge. When devising a unit of work it is important that these are addressed within the appropriate context and the following diagram provided on the Study Desk illustrates the Bloom’s Taxonomy which has been described as a tool useful in discerning the difference between constructing knowledge and transforming knowledge objectives.

A component of this week’s learning activity was to participate in a forum that required us to decide upon two different learning objectives for each a constructing knowledge and transforming knowledge.
